Honey and a whole world of exotic fruits in the bouquet. An enormous mouthfill and juicy fruits on the palate. A rich and elegant minerality by a fine acidity in the aftertaste.

This wine is from the "Erste Große Lage - Grand Cru" wineyard Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr. For centuries, the combination of minerally power and racy elegance made the wines from Brauneberg´s top site the most sought-after Mosel Rieslings. It is probably the best wineyard in Germany.

The Brauneberger Hof (since 1558) by Martin Conrad is one of the best winemakers in the Middle Mosel Vineyards, famous for long-lasting absolutly high quality wines.

Goldkapsel is the stamp given to the best wines of the best german winemakers.

The grapes for Beerenauslese wines are those that have been individually picked. These wines are typically very sweet and rich, and most age very well. The finest Beerenauslese wines are generally considered to be made from the Riesling grape variety, as this retains significant acidity even with the extreme ripeness, which results in a wine where the sweetness is balanced and which has great longevity and which often will improve for decades. These wines are produced in very small quantities when the weather is suitable for the noble rot to form and only in vineyards with appropriate conditions, so they tend to be very expensive.
