Description

Monique Laroche and her daughter Tessa, oenologist, have a magnificent property (acquired in 1981, from 4 ha to 10 today) and a rare heritage of great vintage La Roche-aux-Moines, at the top of the banks of the Loire, near Casting of Serrant. A masterful terroir, not very productive, whose interpretation is found with nuance in bottle. Since the beginning of the 2000s, qualitative options have been taken, evolving the style towards precise and dry savenières (except the sorting liqueur of the Nuns), now deep and naturally elegant. The status of large estate Loire is confirmed by wines each year more successful.

Mild aroma of white flowers and peach at the beginning followed by strong honey wax notes and finish with some tropical fruits (e.g. mango) flavor. It has some body and intensity on palate but finish is not long and very spicy.
