About the wine:
Tenuta di Morzano is a historic family estate in Montespertoli, southwest of Florence, with a long tradition of producing authentic Tuscan wines.
The estate's "Podere del Nonni Nanni" label has been used for generations and remains part of its portfolio today.
This Vin Santo was produced from the 1988 harvest using carefully selected grapes that were naturally dried before fermentation, concentrating their sugars and flavours.
The wine was then matured for four years in traditional chestnut casks (caratelli di castagno), a classic ageing method that imparts the richness, complexity and longevity for which Tuscan Vin Santo is renowned.
Now with more than three decades of bottle age, this is a rare example of traditionally made mature Vin Santo from one of Montespertoli's established estates.

75cl. Fill level: in neck. Label shows some age-related staining and wear consistent with its age. Capsule remains in good condition. Stored cool, dark and temperature-controlled. Photos show the actual bottle.
