90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate "The 2006 Le Volte is especially generous in this vintage. This plump, juicy wine bursts from the glass with an array of super-ripe dark plums, cherries, smoke and licorice. It is an engaging, rewarding wine to enjoy over the next few years. Le Volte is made from Sangiovese which is purchased from outside producers plus Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the property.

Robert Parker and Antonio Galloni had slightly different views on the 2006 Volte drinking windows and I must say in this case it is Galloni who seems to have been proved right. Parker anticipated the wine would be at it's peak around 2010 whereas Galloni opted for 2013+. I would suggest this is pretty much at peak now but there is certainly no hurry to drink up.
