Utterly delicious - dense but well balanced fruit, lovely mouthfeel and nose, long finish. A delight. Still very young, but too good not to enjoy now.

Beautiful wine. Fruitier than I expected. Drank over a hour. Deep purple color, nice bouquet, lovely flavors of black fruit, cigar box and layers of complexity. Still young, but has soft tannins and is very drinkable now. Reminds me of the great California cabernet blends

Didn't really have much time to decant this, but this was drunk over the course of 2 hours or so. Lovely ruby/ink colour. Nose of menthol, blackberries, cherries, green pepper and a hint of tobacco. Medium intensity on the nose. The cabernet sauvignon really came through on this one and this one screamed so loudly of Bordeaux. Green peppers, black cherries, spices (pepper) and oak flavours were matched with medium acidity and nice rounded tannins. Lovely wine which i am sure would have evolved for the better if i had a chance to taste it over a longer period of time.

clear, medium to dark garnet colour with clean rims to the edge. One of the most complex Sassicaia's I've had recently, with a nose of blackberries, black cherries, liquorice, cigar/tobacco smoke throughout the first 45 minutes, then opened up to more green notes of mint leaves, strawberries, red cherries. The palate was robust medium acidity, mixed spices, bold blackberry, blueberry and black cherry characteristics, followed by more ash, pepper, cedar/oak. Tannins were bold and chewy and almost perfect, with it just short of being fully integrated with the wine. Amazing wine.
