Description

TWO lots of FOUR bottles comprising :

a) 1989 Ch Cassagne Haut-Canon / Canon Fronsac
b) 2000 Ch Hauchat La Rose / Fronsac / Gold Medal Bordeaux Concours
c) 2000 Ch Mayne-Vieil 'Cuvée Alienor' / Fronsac
d) 2003 Ch Haut-Carles / Fronsac

All have levels well into the necks.
All were cellared professionally until very recently.
All are predominantly from Merlot grapes.

Fronsac and its neighbour, Canon-Fronsac were up until the early 1980's considered to be the poor man's St Emilion.
Since then a new generation of owners have upped their game considerably, investing huge amounts, and many chateaux such as these make St Emilion look expensive for similar quality.
These four have been oak aged and will all prove a fine and interesting purchase.
