Description

"The 1985 Cos D'Estournel,a wine that is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot was aged in 100% new oak for the first time,is cast from the same mould as the 1982 and 1953 vintages.It is forward with a fabulously scented bouquet of toasty new oak and concentrated red fruit.On the palate,it is very rich,lush,long,and full-bodied". (Tasted approx.1987).
