Description

3 bottles of this great Thierry Allemand wine hailing from the famous Reynard vineyard. The 2004 vintage is now fully mature and drinking superbly.

Tasting note from Vinuous (Josh Raynolds):

Deep, saturated purple. Explosively aromatic nose shows intense floral, blackberry, cassis and dark cherry, with a ripeness bordering on liqueur-like. Impossibly sweet and concentrated, with intense dark berry and plum flavors and an intoxicating, pungent floral quality. The fruit almost overwhelms the palate and builds impressively through the extremely long finish. A remarkable wine, with the power and balance to age for years. (tasted 2007) - 95 points

This wine was purchased in bond from a UK merchant in 2011 and since being taken out of professional storage has been well stored in my spiral cellar and/or wine fridges. The bottles are in excellent condition with very good fill levels (see photographs).
