Description

A delightful wine, the 2013 is made of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc (the exact blend of Merlot to Cab Sauvignon varies slightly from year to year. This is a typical blend example).

Wine Advocate, who awarded this wine 93 points, said:

"The 2013 Giusto di Notri is wonderfully vibrant and pulsating in the glass. Blue and purplish hued fruits, spices, mint and licorice are some of the notes that flesh out. Delineated and beautifully nuanced throughout, the 2013 speaks to understatement and finesse.... A tense, vibrant wine endowed with superb energy. The purity of the fruit here is striking. Stylistically, the 2013 does a great job of reconciling the natural opulence of Suvereto with attractive elements of freshness from the cool nights that defined the late harvest.”

Many prominent commentators have awarded scores of 92 to 94 points to the 2013, many highlighting the similar tasting notes as above. Drinking 2017-2022, if you can possibly wait!

Cases of six bottles of the 2013 Vintage a now easily fetching £230 GBP, so take advantage of my cellar re-organization! I regret I am only oboe to sell the two cases, together. I am asking £ £330 as a 'buy it now' price for the two crates.
