"Look Mum, bottles with no labels"!
"Don't be daft son, yer Dad doesn't drink labels..."

OK, OK, bottles look better with labels but when it comes to it, it's what's under the cork what matters, n'est pas?

Here we have three bottles I found in a very damp Hampshire cellar and had to take half a chance on what they were..there are remnants so it was only the vintages which remained an enigma.

Happily the ambient damp had maintained good levels.

The two Ch Fourcas-Hosten 1964 (Listrac-Médoc Cru Bourgeois) identified from the corks are In Neck and Top Shoulder.
The Ch Soudars '67 (St Emilion Grand Cru Classé) is Very Top Shoulder.

Capsules shortened but not removed to identify each bottle.
