Description

I am offering 2 single bottle Lots from this highly sought after Estate. Both bottles are in A* condition with perfect labels, good ullage for the year (VTS for both), and good capsules, although one has a slight tear at the base.

If storage has anything yo do with it, these both look as though they will be in the best possible condition commensurate with their age.

Good review on Cellar Tracker from a tasting earlier this year (see below).

1/25/2014 - PROF B WROTE:
Bought at auction in 2013. This bottle had a bottom neck fill. The cork, which came out cleanly with an ah-so was nearly soaked through. The brick red wine smells of scorched earth, tobacco, antique leather, and a faint hint of prunes. On the palate, dry earth, tobacco, and hints of something approaching prunes come through. The tannins have faded, but moderate acidity remains. The taste lingers briefly for a short to moderate finish.
