This bottle (my last one for sale) of 2003 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Crau, taken from its original wooden case after being cellared by The Wine Society, exemplifies the craftsmanship of Southern Rhône winemaking from one of the best-known producers in the region. Originating from the renowned La Crau plateau, a site distinguished by its galets roulés (large, rounded stones) and notable minerality, this vintage reflects the Domaine’s dedication to producing wines of character and distinction.

The 2003 growing season was characterized by warm weather, leading to wines with remarkable concentration, depth, and aging potential.
