A mature and increasingly sought-after 1985 Vintage Port from one of Portugal’s oldest and most respected Port houses, Warre’s, established in 1670.
The 1985 vintage is regarded as one of the standout classic Port years of the late 20th century, producing wines with exceptional richness, structure and ageing ability. Warre’s 1985 in particular is known for its elegant style, dark fruit character and beautifully mature complexity.
This bottle remains highly presentable with:
Original capsule intact
Portuguese guarantee seal still attached
Good overall bottle shape and appearance
Strong mature “cellar aged” character
The label shows significant natural wear and flaking consistent with long-term storage and age, which is common for bottles approaching 40 years old. Importantly, the bottle retains strong authenticity and display appeal despite the cosmetic wear.
