Description

12 days skin contact and matured in 10% new barrels for 10 months. Mostly a mix of MV6 and D5V12. The signature perfume that comes with the Yering Station Reserve range hasn’t faltered in this incarnation.

Russian cherry tea, Hawthorn and boysenberries. Blood plum and Averna bitters. Lilac and blackberry bush florals. Shaved licorice root, cumin and poppy seed. Red berries on the palate with crunchy, astute acidity.

Tannins are silky and fine and create a finely spun web of construction. Full of class and one for the long term contemplation. Drink now or will cellar well for another 6-8 years.
