2009 was an exceptional and wonderful vintage for Bordeaux Cru Bourgeois wines:-
"What's so striking about 2009 - and I really haven't seen this kind of excitement since 1982 - as the quality of the cru bourgeois and petit vins and generic Bordeaux that are available. In short,2009 is the greatest vintage I have tasted since 1982,of which it is a modern-day version, but greatly improved".
Robert Parker. (The Wine Advocate. #188. April 2010).
"Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois 2009 tasting in London. The Clauzet 2009 has a very classic, cedar and sous-bois tinged bouquet with good depth of fruit. The palate is harmonious and well-defined with light, tensile tannins, and a very refined, elegant finish.Bon Vin! Tasted September 2011".
(90 Points).
Neal Martin. (The Wine Journal. November 2011).
"A big and powerful wine, packed with ripe fruits, solid tannins. But those tannins are sweet and well-integrated into the fruit.Fine, rich and juicily ripe".
(91-93 Points).
Roger Voss. (The Wine Enthusiast).
