The several wine stains on one of the bottles is due to a broken bottle in the same case, which occurred in transit between cellars. In fact, the bottle with the stained label has a higher wine fill than the bottle with the clean label.

"Poujeaux is a slower-developing wine than neighbour Chasse-Spleen,yet has the potential to be one of the longest lived.A splendid bottle of 1928 served to me in 1985 and again in 1988 proved just how magnificent and ageworthy Poujeaux can be.Poujeaux is clearly a wine that deserves to be ranked as Fifth-Growth in any new classification of the Bordeaux hierarchy.
Only time will reveal whether the 1986 Poujeaux is better than the excellent 1982.With a deep, dark, ruby color and a moderately intense bouquet of weedy black currants, tobacco, and smoky oak,it is quite enticing. On the palate, the wine is very powerful,rich,full-bodied,and capable of lasting at least 15-20 years.Last tasted April 1991",
(89 Points).

Some of the most recent tasting notes on the 1986 Poujeaux on Cellartracker:-

"Dark red with clear edges. Nice slightly ripe dark fruit nose. Tasty back currant and earth flavours and a moderate tannic finish. Still time left for this one".
(89 Points).

DAVID J COOPER. (Cellartracker 7/2/2017).

""Exactly as Blanquito described four years ago. Can easily last another 5+ years".
(93 Points).

ARTF. (Cellartracker. 24/5/2017).

"Leathery, earthy, plum, some cinnamon and funk, with engaging core of savory fruit and nice brightness. Resolved, silky, this has that sweet-n-sour profile of aged cabernet sauvignon. A little one-note, but very enjoyable. Good length, will hold on this level for a while still. Gets bonus points for its maturity".
(90-91 Points).

BLANQUITO. (Cellartracker. 17/6/2013).

Other details

These bottles were bought on release and initially stored in an underground cellar.Within the last twenty two years they have been transferred to a purpose-built,temperature-controlled cellar. This is when the wine stain occurred. The bottle with the stained label also has a piece of label missing (top left facing, see photograph). However,it has a wine fill into neck and the other bottle with the good label has a wine fill at base of neck. Both capsules are in good condition.
