Description

Cask number 465, distilled in 1952, bottled in 2012, bottle number 49/85. 42.3% ABV.

From a limited edition of only 85 bottles released to mark HM Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, this Speyside single malt was distilled in 1952 by Glen Grant and matured in first fill Sherry Hogshead for 60 years before bottling at cask strength in a Glencairn decanter complete with a Swarovski crystal stopper. The presentation case made from Scottish elm contains a signed certificate of origin.

 

This lot forms part of an extensive whisky collection acquired a decade ago through retailers and wholesalers across the UK by a true whisky aficionado. Lying at SW8.
