Level IN, label slightly stained at edges.

Harvested 27 September to 9 October. 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc.
The standout wine at the tasting. Concentration and opulence on the palate, still retaining intense cassis notes. Youthful, deep purple in the glass. Mint notes on the nose work beautifully with the glossy but restrained oak. Still has plenty of acidity giving freshness to the palate, luxurious tannins suggest this still has a long way to go. This lot formed part of an extensive collection of a true wine lover and connoisseur whose interests span all four corners of the wine-making world. Purchased from reputable UK auction houses and merchants over the past two decades, these wines were recently removed from a temperature-controlled cellar especially for this sale and transferred to LCB.
