Description

This lot comprises the following wines:
2007 Les Tourelles de Longueville, 1 bottle
2008 Reserve de la Comtesse, 1 bottle
2009 Les Tourelles de Longueville, 2 bottles

Les Tourelles de Longueville is one of two second wines of Chateau Pichon Baron, the other being Les Griffons de Pichon Baron. The grapes for Les Tourelles are sourced from the Sainte Anne plot which is predominantly planted with Merlot. Reserve de la Comtesse, the second wine of Chateau Pichon Comtesse, has recently been renamed Pichon Comtesse Reserve.

 

This lot forms part of a private collection acquired over the past decade primarily from auction. The cases were kept in a cellar of a substantial Victorian property in West London while the loose bottles were stored in a Eurocave wine cabinet. Now lying at LCB VT.
