Description

Open 12 hours. Bloody ruby, but somewhat weak legs. Black and red fruit nose, bit of tomato leaf as well. Nice. Seems to be a lot lurking below the surface. In the mouth, it sports nice minerals, good fruit; mouthgripping tannins but rich and oaky. Needs time to soften. Nonetheless, again shows the greatness of the vintage for less-heralded appellations. I think lesser appellations in great years like this a far better value than comparably priced California cab
