A beautiful portrayal of the muscular 2009 vintage. Tannins are still not yet fully resolved, however the '09 vintage is so ripe that the wine appears ready...this early. Don't listen to the sellside analysts who have newer vintages of wine to sell you, and throw out a random drinking window. All the wines from 2009 vintage have years to go before becoming fully resolved, and this one is no exception.
