James Suckling - 91 pts March 2013
A wine with chocolate, berry and vanilla character with full body, round tannins and a fresh finish. Solid and firm. Needs two or three years of bottle age.

The 2010 Baron de Brane has a very detailed bouquet with pure blackberry, briary, crushed stone and subtle tobacco aromas that gain intensity with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with just a little chewiness to contend with on the entry. Mainly red fruit, lightly spiced and quite minty, I find the finish attractive but perhaps just missing the intellect of the finest wines in the flight. Neal Martin Vinous 90 pts.
