1 x bottle of this second label from the Lafite Rothschild estate, in great condition with level into the neck, not too shabby for a 27 year old bottle of wine. Always kept in a cellared environment since purchase some 16 years ago.

A 26 year old treat ! A superb wine with a dark black, ruby red colour, with pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, plum, vanilla and nutmeg. Super silky medium body of soft dark fruits with drying tannins, so loads of life left here yet. Opulent ripeness with toasty leathery oak and dirty mocha, and a wonderful youthful balance. Just loads of coffee and chocolate.....wonderful !! Robert Parker.
