1 x Bottle in great condition, with level into the neck.

I have noted in my tastings that the second wine of Lafite, Carruades de Lafite, has improved greatly over recent years. The 1995 vintage is a blend of 40% Merlot & 60% Cabernet Sauvignon. It exhibits more of the trademark characteristics of its bigger sibling. Elegant, great balance with spicy new oak, lead pencil & creamy blackcurrant fruit. This is a medium bodied, finesse style wine with excellent purity & an overall beautiful equilibrium, excellent !! Robert Parker
