While this is quite young and primary, there is pretty and concentrated red and black fruit with flecks of earth and
mineral. With time, this opened up, with more perfumed masculine Chambolle fruit emerging. It is a wine with a fine
sense of balance. This certainly would benefit from a few more years of cellar time or a few hours in the decanter.
This is somewhat New World in style but certainly Burgundian. I would describe this wine as "polished", and thus it may
not suit the old school Burg purist. I did enjoy this in light of its hedonistic style.
