Chateau Angelus in the St Emilion right bank region of Bordeaux is a family owned 39 hectare vineyard consistently producing some of the finest Merlot/Cabernet Franc wines. It has been awarded the very highest St Emilion classification of 1er Grand Cru Classé (A). This 1996 vintage is an immaculate example exhibiting a black/ruby/purple colour. It will keep for more years but it is drinking exquisitely now. Currently stored in a temperature and humidity controlled wine cellar.
