1 x bottle of 1956 in excellent condition for age. Capsule is
very good, label good, level high shoulder which is perfectly
acceptable for a bottle that is 61 years old.
A great collectors item that would grace any cellar.
The 1956 was by all accounts the wine of the vintage, with Chateau
Cos d'Estephe without doubt the leading estate in St Estephe, on the border with Pauillac, just north of Lafite.
An inky/blue/ purple colour with black fruits, incense & smoke on the nose. Chateau Cos d'Estephe produce full bodied, dark, brooding wines which develop a complexity & intensity that can rival many top growths from Pauillac.
Direct deposit is preferred, although paypal is accepted a 5% fee will be added to the final invoice.
