Description

This lovely wine has been stored with Corney and Barrow since release, and was rated 91 by Neil Martin in 2020 in his Ten Years on review of Bordeaux 2010. While Steven Spurrier scored the same mark in Decanter "Red and black berry fruits on the nose. Merlot roundness and Cabernet firmness blend perfectly together with added richness, spice and grip from the Petit Verdot. Still firm on the palate, very Haut-Médoc with ripeness and structure, tannins and terroir in balance for a fine future." A very good lunchtime claret in that slightly old-fashioned sense. I have two cases, so I am selling one of them. The wine is in bond and can be transferred or if you'd like to drink this now then it's easy for me to request delivery from C&B to anywhere in the UK.
