Wow! What a beauty. A mighty 6L Imperial containing no less than the equivalent of 8 standard size bottles. There's a party right there! Pontet Canet produced a simply stunning offering in 2014, garnering 95 points from the Parker machine, and considered my many to be the wine of the vintage.
There is some damage to the wax that surrounds the capsule on bottles of this size - please see pic 4. This occurred during delivery to me, but since then the bottle has been stored on its side in my cellar with zero signs of seepage. So I can state with confidence that this is cosmetic damage only.
Offered in its original wooden case. The standard size bottle is just there in the pic for scale. But you knew that.
