The wine has been professionally stored with Farthinghoe since my original purchase 3 years ago. I had it delivered it to me a few weeks ago and stored it carefully until I decided to sell this one case of 6 and keep my other 3 cases for now.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the predominant variety. Stellar winemaker Jean-Michel Garcion uses a minimum of 85% in the blend, with Merlot in the supporting role along with a small percentage of Petit Verdot to add aromatics. Bought by the de Schepper family in the 1960s, this property has been on the rise ever since, through steady application of classed growth techniques and standards.
