Description

Another bottle discovered in my dad's wine cellar.
Bottle in good condition, a bit of cellar damage &
marking to label, level medium shoulder.

Wine searcher £427.00.

As one of the four original first growth Bordeaux, Chateau Haut-Brion enjoys an illustrious history and has long been considered one of the jewels of French winemaking.

Medium garnet colour, sweet nose of perfectly ripe black berries & cherry. Amazingly this 52 year old is alive & kicking. Classic aromas of cassis, sweet tabacco, black plums, wet earth, cigar ash. Creamy mouthfeel with surprisingly fresh acidity. This wine actually got better in our glasses & was superb. 96 points October 2018.

Always kept in my fathers cellar, probably bought as a celebration for England winning the world cup in that year, obviously I am surmising but my father was a big football follower.

Direct deposit is preferred, although paypal is accepted, a 5% fee will be added to the final invoice.
