You are bidding on a bottle of the 1970 Chateau La Mission Haut Brion. This Bordeaux wine from the Pessac-Léognan appellation was classed among the Crus Classés in the 1953 Graves Classification, and is the sister property of the First Growth Chateau Haut-Brion. It has a deep colour and is earthy with notes of tobacco and red fruit. The label is a little perished but it is still possible to make out the provenance of the wine. It is currently stored in a temperature and humidity controlled cellar. The levels for the year are not bad at all, being mid shoulder.
