Description

Tasted by Anonymous on 5/6/2000 & rated 94 points: Dark red with a little brown edge. This wine is very soft now and a great pleasure to drink. There is the black currant as they only grow in Pauillac, but soft… Beautiful well integrated wood as well. Very subtle and supple. Of course this is, because of the vintage, not a very full bodied wine, but there is so much elegance.

Tasted by Siggy on 12/4/2007 & rated 87 points: I expected this to be DOA given the horrible character of the vintage, and wow, what a pleasant surprise. Ripe red fruit (rhubarb) on the nose, with a hint of VA. The nose is gorgeously expressive. On the palate, this shows red cherries, baking spices, herbs, and light funk. Light-bodied and fully mature but still lively. This was undoubtedly a super-clean bottle and an unusually good example of this wine.

Tasted by phansen on 12/23/2011 & rated 89 points: Lovely.
