"Cuvée de Navarre" their top wine made from the best parcels of this 42 hectare estate. Bought by a Dutchman in 1998 the whole property has been restuctured from top to bottom. Stephane Derenoncourt oversees the winemaking.
This wine is bright and deep in colour.
Very flattering, full of finesse, it has a nice range of flavors: jammy black fruits, cassis, blackberries, blueberries. Then came hints of mint and licorice.
The wine is voluptuous. It goes nicely grilled red meats and game.
Unfiltered.
