Listing for 2 perfect bottles. This hillside property is located just to the north of Castillon la Bataille and produces wine under the Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux AOP. Denis Durantou purchased it in 2009.
Merlot again accounts for around 75 to 80 percent of a blend, with the remainder composed of Cabernet Franc and around 5 percent of Cabernet Sauvignon. The limestone soils here add a certain degree of salinity to the wine, 50 percent of which is aged in new oak.
