Chateau Pavie Macquin 1er Grand Cru Classe Saint-Emilion
The 1953 Pavie Macquin has been described as follows: 'has a dark colour, powerful bouquet with notes of black fruit and is generous and ample on the palate with an attractive texture, while displaying pleasant spicy aromas. The wine is a model of complexity and balance, extremely consistent.'
The wine has been very well cared for in a temperature controlled cellar. The Labels frail with age, but they are very good condition and bin levels mid shoulder. And for 61 year old wine the wine is in excellent condition.
