The 1986 vintage from Chateau Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande has long been hailed a winner, often compared to the superlative 1982 vintage. This wine is now fully mature and ready to be enjoyed in all its Pauillac majesty. It has a glorious perfume and a complex bouquet of cedar, spice box, black fruits, red cherry, sandalwood and earth notes. Critice reviews have awarded it 95pts Neal Martin, 95pts Falstaff Magazin and 20/20 Vunum Magazine. The levels are excellent and the bottle is in very good condition for the year. Would make a superb special birthday or anniversary present.
