Description

You are bidding on an excellently preserved bottle of 1993 Margaux from the 1855 ranked 2nd Growth Chateau Rauzan-Segla vineyard. Today the vineyard is woned by the Wertheimer family of the fashion house Chanel and is managed by Nicolas Audebert. There are 45 hectares of vineyards at Rauzan-Segla and the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and then matured in barriques for 18 months. 63% Cab Sav, 35% Merlot and 2% Cab Franc. The wine is currently stored in a temperature and humidity controlled cellar, and the bottle, labelling and levels are all exceptional.
