Currently owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), Château Rieussec`s reputation is upheld by its classification as a Premier Cru Classé in the Sauternes and Barsac classification of 1855. An extraordinary achievement, the 2001 vintage displays a delicate golden hue, accompanied by aromas of honeysuckle, oak with a touch of smokiness, and tropical fruits with caramelized nuances.
