The Chave family has been producing wines in the Rhône Valley for several generations and is renowned for their commitment to quality. Their Hermitage Blanc is primarily made from Marsanne, with a smaller proportion of Roussanne. Marsanne brings structure, richness, and ageing potential to the blend, while Roussanne adds aromatic complexity and finesse. This release from the 1990 vintage is now a mature but still powerful wine, marked by notes of honey, apricots, figs, roasted nuts and floral undertones.
