'Hemel-en-Aarde Valley fruit, 40% whole bunches. 2015 textured and hugely appealing with complex earthy fynbos aromas, vanilla-infused strawberry compote flavours, lingering savoury farewell. 30% new oak.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2017, 4.5*

From a vineyard near Bouchard Finlayson. The Bona Fide 2015 shows darker fruit and more concentration. Those familiar with the Galpin Peak Pinot Noir will find similarities here. Dark berry gives way to a richer palate weight and a juicier experience. Perfectly expresses its terrior. The 2015 is ready but will evolve over the next few years. Drink 2016 – 2025.
