One of the very finest Champagnes of the 20th century offered in perfect condition. Purchased directly from the winery during a visit and stored impeccably thereafter. Disgorged in 1999. Offered in its fancy wooded box (even the rotating catch is a thing to behold!) with the original booklet. As good as it gets :)
This December 2023 review on CellarTracker says it all: “…This year, I tasted Dom P3 1985, Oenotheque 1976(deg.2006), Oenotheque 1969(deg.2003), Reserve de l'Abbaye 1978, 1985, 1988 and many other P1 and P2 bottles of 90's and 00's. This is THE BEST CHAMPAGNE(not just Dom Perignon) I'VE EVER TASTED.”
Bottle can be collected from my workplace n Covent Garden, or I’m very happy to deliver personally anywhere in London. For buyers further afield, I will package this precious cargo VERY carefully indeed. I’m really unsure as to how to value this one. Only one bottle available in the UK at Hedonism for over £5k.
