Malmsley Madeira Solera 1863.
Exquisite sweet nose and extraordinarily long finish. Notes of caramel, almonds and vanilla. We tasted this wine in our tasting circle and 12 out of 14 of us gave it 100 points. That may have had something to do with the fact that it was the last wine of the night and we had really enjoyed ourselves up to that point or due to the fact that we were drinking a 145 year old wine! or probably both!
A real show stopper and great fun.
