FOR SALE: A 100 YEAR OLD BOTTLE OF PORT.
This bottle of 1908 Vinho do Porto Real Vinicola Garrafiera Reserva is being sold in absolutely outstanding condition for its age, with the bottle, lable, seal and level all excellent. It has been extremely well looked after, having being owned since new by the same family in Italy and stored for most of its life in excellent conditions in the same residence. I hope the pictures give you a good idea of how good the condition of this bottle really is. If you want me to email them to you so you can see them in their full size and clarity, please ask.
It is very difficult to place a value on this very very rare bottle. There is one outlet in the world selling this bottle - for £900. I have set a reserve significantly below this - which is in my opinion, very fair given the age and condition of this very fine bottle. I have specified 75cl as the bottles size, but there is no indication of this on the bottle. I suggest it is in fact, likely to be 70cl.
This bottle will be sent very well packaged and fully insured to the buyer on receipt of cleared payment. Alternatively, collection in person is also perfectly acceptable.
