Colheitas are top-tier Ports from single vintages and matured in wood for at least 7 years, often longer (this particular little treasure was bottled in 2005).
For this reason, they acquire with time the characteristic mahogany colour of the old Tawnies, a fine and complex bouquet, a nutty character and a silky texture. Perfect with cheese (or course) but also a fine cigar!
