In 1983,ten Port shippers declared the vintage year and it is now considered a great classic port vintage,with concentrated,rich and harmonious wines,which have developed magnificently,with excellent balance and complexity.
These bottles should be in perfect condition for either Christmas celebrations or Christmas gifts:-
"This is an extraordinary house that seems to have been particularly successful with its vintage port since 1977.The 1983 is rich,concentrated,very fruity,and magnificently perfumed,suggesting that it is going to mature early,long before the 1977".
