Description

This is a fortified wine from the Montsant region of North-East Spain.

It is made from 100 year old Grenache vines and offers a delicious alternative to vintage port, with a little less alcohol & sweetness, and a rather more nutty/herbal character.

Well worth a try!

(The Wine Advocate hasn't tasted this vintage, but has tried three other vintages, all of which scored 92-94 points).
