Description

Provenance is a house clearance situation (probate).

Gentleman kept a modest, old-school cellar at his rural home.

The wax cork-cover appears to be properly intact and ullage appears to be good.

The bottle glass colour is standard (i.e. very dark) green, and assessment of ullage required a strong lamp behind; ullage is estimated to be 4.5cm to 5.0cm (the size of the cork is obscured by the wax) which is between c. one-third and one-half into the neck.
