Thursday, May 24, 2018 Light tawny, with a touch of ruby in the centre. Complex and classic nose of lifted fruit that is showing its age. Huge depth of flavour on the palate. Sweet, powerful and silky with a completely harmonious finish Equally as good as the Fonseca tonight, but convincing on a suave finish, rather than the Fonseca's slightly more spirit finish. Not a facet of this is out of place - pure harmony for me. Best bottle of the Dow that I have drunk. Picked correctly as a 1963.
