Embossed capsule. No label. Level: into neck. Established in 1751, Ferreira has a storied history. Antonia Ferreira, a widow, ran the business for the latter half of the 19th century and was an extraordinary woman of that time fighting phylloxera which took hold of the vineyards. 1945 vintage was wildly declared and this example has an exceptional level.


Removed from an immaculate underground country cellar.
